Spells

Spells for actual, everyday intentions.

Welcoming the moon, protecting your space, drawing something you're working toward, clearing out what's stale, building confidence, and working with knot magic — 22 spells in seven categories, workings built from things you likely already own.

A spell here is treated the same way the rest of this site treats ritual: as a focused, repeatable practice for clarifying intention and taking action — not a guarantee, and not a substitute for the real-world effort a goal usually needs alongside it. None of what follows requires rare ingredients; substitutions are noted where an easy one exists. If you're new to spellwork generally, Building a Simple Spell Kit covers the basics of what to keep on hand.

Lunar

Welcoming the Moon

Tied to the two anchor points of the lunar cycle — new moon for starting, full moon for releasing and charging. Check tonight's actual phase before you begin either one.

Protection

Protection

For a home or a person, not a promise against every possible harm — think of these as reinforcing your own good judgment, not replacing it.

All protection spells →

Abundance

To Get Something

Drawing-in workings — money, a job, an opportunity you're actively pursuing. These pair best with real action (the application, the ask, the follow-up), not instead of it.

Cleansing

Cleansing & Release

For a space that feels stale or heavy, or a situation you're ready to stop carrying.

Self

Confidence & Self-Love

For the days you need to actually believe what you already know.

Intermediate

Intermediate Spells

Five original workings for protection, abundance, release, discernment, and creativity — a step past the basics above, still built from ordinary supplies. Ground yourself and cast a circle first if that belongs to your practice, and offer thanks and open the circle when you're done.

Knot Magic

Knot Spells

Knot spells give an intention a physical form: each knot joins a spoken purpose to a deliberate movement, and the finished cord becomes something you can hold, revisit, and eventually untie. That spiritual meaning is a matter of belief, not a guarantee that a cord can control events or another person. Tie slowly, name exactly what each knot represents, and decide in advance when the spell will end — and never bind cord around a person or animal. The last two workings below are self-directed bindings: a binding holds a boundary or commitment in symbolic form, and an unbinding marks the decision to release it.
